Frequently Asked Questions
How do I rent a unit?
Kingswood Village Property Owners Association does not rent units. There are many rental agencies that rent units for owners and owners that rent units themselves. Most can be found with a internet search
Where can I park my car?
There are not assigned parking spaces, s you can park anywhere legally allowed. Occasionally parking adjacent to your unit may fill, so feel free to park in another lot. Street parking may also be available, though it is generally prohibited from November 1 to May 1 for snowplows (obey all street signage). Vehicles are limited to three per unit. Vehicles MUST BE MOVED EVERY 24 HOURS during snow events and at least once per week all other times.
Where can I park my RV, large truck or boat?
No trailers or RV’s are allowed in the main lots at any time. RV’s are limited to three
days in the Sports Facility parking area and must be registered with Kingswood Village
Property Manager. No overnight occupancy is allowed. There is a boat/trailer parking that is available. If your vehicle will be in this lot will be there for more than 24 hours, you must fill out this form. There is an online version available or a hard copy at the office. Boat/STR Lot Form
When do Kingswood Village amenities open/hours change?
The pool/Sports Courts are usually open during the day and hours area adjusted based on the season. They usually change in late spring, around Memorial Day, when temperatures allow the pool to open, and again in the fall, just after Labor Day, when the pool closes. Staffing requirements also can result in hour limitations and changes for amenities.
Are there bears?
Yes! Bears frequent the property almost daily, often looking for food. Keep your distance! They are wild! Be sure to replace the chain closure and clip the carabiner (where available) on the dumpster when emptying the trash, and don’t leave food out to tempt them.
Also, do not leave ANY food or scented items in your car, and be sure to lock it. Bears check the car doors regularly and can easily open the door (or remove it!) to get at the interesting scents. See guidelines National Park Service and Bear League.
Can I bring my pet?
Owners are allow to bring their pets and all dogs should remain leashed within the complex. There is a strict no dog policy for all renters.
Where do I empty the trash?
Dumpsters are available adjacent to the parking lots. Do not leave trash outside the dumpster, and be sure to replace bear bar/chain closures (where available). Dumpsters can fill at popular times, so please crush items where possible. If the dumpster is unavailable, dump your trash at a later time.
When is snow removal done?
Snow removal occurs daily as needed, and is usually completed on all units by midday. Walkways, paths to units, and parking lots traffic lanes are plowed. Parking lots are generally plowed twice, first to open up traffic lanes, and then to clear snow piled around previously occupied spaces for cars that have departed.
Individual cars are dug out by their owners. To prevent deep build up of snow and ice, car owners are required to move their cars daily so the snow previously surrounding the car can be plowed. Occasionally a roof shedding snow will block the walkways to a unit after the walkway is plowed. For assistance, contact our office
